Through challenges with her eyesight and the loss of her husband, continued companionship helped Madam Eng stay connected and extend care to others.
Madam Eng’s husband was a patient at our dialysis centre. Encouraged by fellow patient Lau Kar Kie and other volunteers, she began volunteering and learning weaving.
Companionship continued after her husband passed away in April. In September, she brought donations from herself, her son, and his boss to help others.
