A group of visitors from the Tzu Chi Environmental Protection Education Centre visited the Tzu Chi Dialysis Centre on June 14, 2025.
The tour began at the lobby and continued through the dialysis room and long-term care centre, offering insights into Tzu Chi’s unique blend of professionalism and humanistic care.
In the dialysis room, Head Nurse Sister Teoh explained the treatment process and patient care routines, helping visitors understand the needs of those with kidney disease. At the long-term care centre, Brother Wei Khai shared the “home-like” care philosophy and sensory-stimulating activities designed to support elderly patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
The visit concluded with a health talk by Nurse Pei Hoay on “How to Protect Your Kidneys,” offering practical tips that visitors found insightful and rewarding.
