On April 11, the Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA) in Sungai Petani hosted a heartwarming health screening for 32 care recipients and volunteers. With a multidisciplinary team of western medicine physicians, TCM practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, and physiotherapists, participants were empowered to take charge of their health in a familiar and supportive environment.
A special thank you to Dr. Lo Gin Yong, Head of Surgery from Kulim Hospital, for his inspiring talk, “Fighting Cancer with the Power of Running,” which encouraged everyone to face health challenges with a positive mindset and an active lifestyle.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the medical team from Penang for their cross-region support, Dr. Alwin (Nephrologist at Sungai Petani Hospital), AIMST University students, and all dedicated community volunteers. Together, we safeguard health and let love continue!
