On March 10, 2025, six students from Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) visited the Penang Tzu Chi Dialysis Center as part of their service-learning course, gaining a deeper understanding of Tzu Chi’s charitable mission and humanistic care.
💡 Led by volunteers, the students toured the center’s facilities, learned about the origin and mission of Tzu Chi, experienced the spirit of “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
🌏 This visit provided the students with valuable insights, not only enhancing their understanding of social service but also inspiring a sense of mission to care for the disadvantaged and contribute to society. This learning experience will serve as a starting point for their future acts of kindness and charity!
💖 On March 15, 2025, the students returned to the Tzu Chi Dialysis Center to assist in caring for dialysis patients with limited mobility and to clean the waiting area. Their active participation embodied the social responsibility outlined in the college’s curriculum, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge through real-life action. Through this service experience, they learned how to serve others with love and care, combining academic learning with social practice.
May this service journey become a lasting source of strength in each student’s heart and inspire more young people to walk the path of charity, spreading love and compassion without limits!
