Buddhist Tzu-Chi Dialysis Centre (Penang)
Some lessons are not learned in classrooms, but through real human encounters. 🤍
A group of MCKL College (Pykett Campus) students stepped into the dialysis centre, putting on gloves and learning what it means to care for someone in a real healthcare setting.
They helped push wheelchairs, supported patients’ movement, and quietly observed the gentleness behind every act of care.
For them, this was not just volunteering — it was a lesson about people.
During the feedback session, what they shared was not about the tasks completed, but how their perspectives have changed. They realised that caring for someone is not only about action, but also about understanding and respect.
Perhaps one day they will become professionals in different fields.
But today, a seed has already been planted — one about empathy, companionship, and truly seeing another human being. ✨
