Lately, the dialysis centre has been infused with a fresh vitality, as a group of Pre-U students from MCKL College Penang Pykett filled the space with bright eyes, smiles, and laughter.
Here we see the first group of students, who came every Wednesday for six weeks: helping patients with mobility challenges, guiding them in simple stretches, and assisting them in folding bed sheets.
These services may not seem grand or glamorous, but they were steady, gentle, and enduring. The students’ dedication reminds us that care is not only about medical skills, but also about maintaining a clean environment and supporting the spirit, adding warmth to the patients’ treatment journey.
