Journey of Service, Cultivating a Heart of Compassion: MCKL Service Learning (Part 2)
Following yesterday’s post about the Pre-U students from MCKL College Penang Pykett, here’s a look at the second group of and their Saturday activities with the elderly.
These students brought music, games, and laughter. They played chess, pieced puzzles, folded origami, strummed melodies, and shared simple card games with the elderly.
The elderly felt companionship and joy, while the students learned that care is also about presence, patience, and shared humanity. Here, generations met heart-to-heart, reminding us that service is lightness and joy.
