On Aug 30, students from IPG Teacher Training Institute visited the Buddhist Tzu-Chi Dialysis Centre, experiencing first-hand the atmosphere of Tzu-Chi’s medical mission. Many were shocked to see dialysis needles and equipment for the first time. Volunteers patiently explained the dialysis process and shared stories of dialysis patients’ daily lives. They encouraged the future teachers to bring their own students to raise awareness of chronic disease prevention and health management. Through the video about dialysis patients, the students were deeply moved by their resilience and the care of the medical team.
