Over the past two weeks, our long-term care activities have been exceptionally lively. The centre was filled with the cheerful laughter of our seniors, bringing wonderful vitality to the space.
Adding to this joy were students from IMU’s medical faculty and MCKL College, who came as part of their community service. They spent meaningful moments with the seniors through handicrafts and group games.
During a friendly “Intergenerational Challenge,” it initially seemed the youths might have the upper hand. However, the seniors surprised everyone with their steady hands and impressive accuracy, proving that experience and technique shine just as brightly as youth.
Finally, Mother Huang joyfully presented a small token of appreciation to the winning student team, bringing the joyful gathering to a heartwarming close.
