On July 21, 2025, 40 students and teachers from SMK Bukit Mertajam visited Tzu Chi Dialysis Center.
A documentary on renal patient Sister Hui Ting was shown to the visitors, which highlighted daily struggles with kidney disease, fostering empathy.
Nurse Brother Joe shared insights on kidney disease causes, prevention, and healthy living. The visit aimed to raise disease awareness, showcase social welfare work, and inspire youth in healthcare.
We hope to continue such exchanges to engage young minds in healthcare and social welfare.
