Behind the success of these two free clinic events stood a quietly dedicated and powerfully motivating figure — Dr. Khoo Siew Im, Dharma name Yi Ti.
Not only did she serve as the lead coordinator, but she also moved many hearts through her sincerity and actions. From planning, coordination, to being physically present throughout the events, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to protecting the health of every volunteer and the families of dialysis patients.
🌟 Family-Inspired Giving
Her husband, Dr. Kan Chan Siang, specially travelled back from Kuala Lumpur to support the event alongside her. Their joint contribution as a couple was a truly touching display of “a family serving together with love.”
🌟 Wholehearted Recruitment of Bodhisattvas
She invited members and friends one by one, and many were moved by her sincerity and persistence. Because of her, they stepped forward onto the Bodhisattva path — joining the mission to care for lives and health.
🌟 Team Harmony in Action
From setup to takedown, the event space was swiftly and seamlessly handled, showing the unity, efficiency, and cooperative spirit of the entire team.
