Before dawn, a group of elderly volunteers were already in the kitchen, preparing meals to be delivered by lunchtime. Each person has a designated role, and with their dedication comes physical strain.
Observing their routines, Tzu Chi University’s Physical Therapy students and lecturers discussed ways to reduce injury risks for the volunteers. They then guided everyone through stretches and shared tips on protecting their health. The message was clear: only by caring for ourselves can we continue serving others with strength and joy.
