Ms. Yang has been receiving free dialysis support from Tzu Chi Dialysis Centre since April 2020. Over the past five years, the dedicated team at Tzu Chi has provided her with ongoing medical care, allowing her to manage her health and continue her daily life despite the challenges of kidney failure.
In addition to medical treatment, Tzu Chi nurses recognized the difficulties Ms. Yang faced at home, especially with mobility. They arranged for handrails to be installed along her staircase, so she no longer needs to crawl up the stairs. With this thoughtful home modification, Ms. Yang can now move safely and walk with dignity in her own home.
